I'm Nicole Kuklok-Waldman, and I used to call myself a “Lucky Lawyer” because I loved my practice and job as a land use lawyer.
After graduating from UC Berkeley and Georgetown University Law Center, I worked in BigLaw at two major firms.
I then moved on to boutique law firms working for my former BigLaw partners.
It turned out that my practice, billable hours, and a "typical lawyer life" weren't compatible with the life I wanted to live.
Since then, I've worn several hats, including saleswoman, consultant, and professor. In that journey, I learned a lot and found that I was helping a lot of people—from students to friends to co-workers—get clear on their careers. I created the Lucky Lawyer Course as a way to share my knowledge and help others with what I've learned.
